IE sometimes treats this site like an evil cat treats a couch,
If you want to view the site as it should be, use another(safer) browser.. (like
Firefox or
Chrome)
Guess what, I found a glitch in the Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Demo, it’s pretty awesome. Oh and the glitch is awesome too.. anyways When you put an item on top of the vehicle and stand on it, you can make the vehicle fly by picking it up! Yes, yes I know you can make flying vehicles, but this works with any vehicle that has storage.
Ok, so you might be wondering, “Hey, that guy was posting regular blog posts, then he just stopped, wtf?!?”.. Well, yes, I’ve stopped posting for a while, but it’s not because I’ve lost interest or quit or anything. It’s because I’ve been working behind the scenes re-coding the spot database from the ground up.
Just throwin’ it out there..
Anyways, I’ll start posting again soon, but until then, I’ll be coding. ;D
UPDATE(10/15/08): Lately I haven’t even been coding that much as I am uncertain on the direction I want to go with the spot database. Until I make up my mind, I don’t think much will get done on it. If anyone has any questions about the spot database, reguarding features etc. or just want to try it out; comment on this post, IM me, or hit up the contact page.

Dude… Things in parodys shouldn’t come true. But apparently the folks at “American Fare”, a brand that makes just about everything, from razors to apple juice, thought it was a good idea to 1-up the competition and have a six-bladed razor.. WTF?!? Six Blades! What is this world coming to!?!
Fwink is a great program for people with webcams and/or people who want to share their webcam on their site. It has a bunch of configurable settings, and can even automatically upload images to your site!
In this new segment I’m going to be posting about addictive games. This week I’m featuring Desktop Tower Defense. This is a free flash game with submittable scoring. It’s not just addicting, it’s just plain fun.

Born and rising from Kansas City, Shots Fired is proving that there is still anima in rock. With a sound that transcends the current style and scene, Shots Fired continues to leave their mark with the release of their Self-titled CD. The CD was released in June of 2004.
Despite the fact that was four years ago, Shots Fired is worth revisiting, especially if you’ve never heard them. If you visit their site, shotsfired.net, it seems as if the band has dissipated. The reason is that there haven’t been any updates since 2005, and trying to search for the band anywhere else leads to the same conclusion.
The band may now seem non-existent, but you can still find places to buy their cd(like here), as well as listen to samples of their tracks. Who knows if they will ever release another cd, or if we’ll ever hear from them again, but they are definitely worth checking out.
There’s something about the simplicity of a skateboard that keeps designers coming back to revisit it… but the SoulArc board certainly seems a worthy reinvention. It’s designed to make skateboarding feel more like surfing, with a huge leaf-spring mounted between the deck and the wheels..
Some new features have been added to the site and you may or may not have noticed.
The first feature is the forums, these new forums are integrated with the blog and the site so no new registration is needed, you can either use your blog username or post as a guest. There are only a few categories as to keep the forums simple and easy to use, more categories may be added in the future if needed.
The second addition to the site is the FeveRcam, this is a webcam that is randomly updated with images from FeveR HQ. Sometimes it will be images of the landscape, or other times it will act as a normal webcam, either showing what’s going on at FeveR HQ, or previews on upcoming features. You can see this in the sidebar.
Face Your Manga is a website that has a fully featured manga-like avatar creator. You can create an unlimited amount of free avatars either in your likeness or any way you want. Once your avatar is created, the image is sent to your email for you to enjoy.
You can also view other recent avatars that people have created. These images are starting to appear all over twitter and who knows what else..
Also, for those of you who fall in love with the avatar you create, you can order a print of the image.

Nice and clean.
Yes, this is a simple layout, and yes, it’s very easy to make. But that’s the point. For all of you that are still using html to manage your pages, or just want a cleaner navigation system, this post is for you.
The main code of this layout is a short php code that can be used to call any page and thus eliminating the need to recode a layout for every singe page of the site.

There should never be this much dust.. on anything.
This is a sign that I was assigned to dispose of. It was one of many that had been sitting on top of a rack for who knows how long. Two more pics to compare after the break. (more…)
They would always land their tricks… but as we all know skaters can’t fly, or can they?
Apparently there’s a glitch on ea’s skate where you end up on top of an invisible wall, therefore creating the illusion of flying. The wall eventually ends on either side so you can’t fly over everything, but think of the edges as 500-stair sets and I’m sure you’ll know what to do.
The glich is easy to do, the area is easy to get to, but… It takes a while.
For all of you “skaters” who wanna release your inner eagle and have more than 10 minutes to play, the video is after the break.. (more…)
RescueTime is a free time management tool that sits in your system tray and keeps track of the time spent on anything on your computer. RescueTime is not a keylogger, it only records time spent. It’s perfect if you’d like to know how much time your spending on certain programs or doing certain things while on your computer.
It can be used for time optimization, increasing productivity, or if you’re just plain curious and want to know how your time is spent. Once you signup you can view all your stats online and reports are periodically sent to your email. I’ve found this a useful addition and homefully so will you. If interested, you can check out RescueTime on their website, rescuetime.com.

Their Deput Album, Take to the Skies, which reached #4 in the Official UK Album Chart.
Today in MoosiK we’re featuring Enter Shikari. Enter Shikari is a melodic/screamo post-hardcore band straight from the UK with alot of potential and they’re showing it. Their music is semi-raw and has an awesome synth overtone. If you are into bands such as Underoath, Silverstein and the like you’re sure to enjoy Enter Shikari. You can snag a taste of their awesome music from their myspace or visit their site directly at entershikari.com. Right now this is one of my favorite bands, and if you like unique style, rythmic beats, and 8-bit synth I’d definitely recommend this band.
IceT’s Uploader is a comprehensive image uploading service that has loads of features but keeps everything simple and easy to use. They also allow uploading of videos and have a large amount of space and no limit to user bandwidth, so it’s perfect if you’re one of those people who spam image posts like crazy, or just leave alot of comments on myspace.
Registration is free and the site also offers some useful website and myspace tools, so go check it out!
As many of you may or may not know the Spot Database used to require login, as it was integrated with the sk8fever forums. Well, in my decision to disable the forums I have been contemplating on how to deal with the Spot Database, and how to implement user submissions. In the end I decided that anyone should be able to submit or edit a spot, no registration of any kind needed.
You may think “well then how can I track my submissions?”, but as I also had that in mind there is now a field at the bottom of each submission/editing page where you enter your name.
Not only does this field serve as displaying you as the author, but it saves the name in a database. Therefore, everytime the name is used, it’s submissions are recorded in the database alongside the name. This is of course now active, so submit those spots!
